Re: PICS - Modified Honda Citys and Vtecs

@Cityvic - Well, the steering wheel is a Honda factory Integra Type R DC2 Momo, so it comes that way and it looks smashing in real. Those who have seen an Integra TR for real, will swear by it.
The wheels are the lightest 15 inch you can ever buy. Weighing around 3.8kilos per rim, fully forged Enkei RPF01. They cost about 300 USD per rim pls shipping. So thats 300USD x 4 pls shipping and customs. The CF seats cost about 1200 USD per seat. so thats 1200 x 2 pls shipping and customs. I have collected the parts over the last 1 year.
I have one more set of the Bride CF cuga seats, brand new with me. I got 2 sets down.
The ITR momo wheel was another rare find. Have a lot more stuffs, which I will plonk in a phased manner. Have some work on the engine internals, so will go in after that.
Right now clocks 0-100kph in 6.3secs with a loaded car and no attempt on reducing any weight.
The suspension was done about 2 years ago. Have been running it since then. A custom unit with 3 way settings. Sticks like a leech and no body roll. Very comfortable and no bounce on streets.
A few pics from our last Honda meet.
A bit of performance as well now, a casual launch video
The video was taken during the same meet with 2 people onboard.

The engine part is for another day.
Enkei RPF01 7J rims shod on 205 BFGs, braided lines and all 4 discs, custom built 3 way suspension, Bride Cuga carbon fibre seats, Honda factory - Integra Type R DC2 momo wheel and more. A lot more to come by.
Hawt Hawt hawt! Thats one real hot honda there. She is a total sleeper.
Congrats!
The seats and the rims looks very hot, infact the real JDM style.
Yes, waiting for the engine side for the days to come,. Eagerly waiting.

Can you add some more details about the suspension set-up?

0-100kph in 6.3secs that's real fast. Please share your engine mods if you don't mind.

When did the Honda meet happen? Is it a bunch of friends teaming up?
Are the other OHC's modded too?

Love the seats

Thanks,
Ayyappan

Re: PICS - Modified Honda Citys and Vtecs

The Honda meet is a group formed by a few of us. We regularly meet and have open invites for any Honda Type 1 and Type 2 owners. We will have group drives and meets quite often.
The other Honda in the pic above is built by me. Does 0-100kph in 7.28secs.
Well, 6.3secs to 100 was bad, coz air pressure was high and the car was fully loaded with full tank gas. Also, the car runs a mere 9:1 compression.

Re: PICS - Modified Honda Citys and Vtecs

6.3 seconds is mind-numbingly fast! That's Porsche Boxster territory, mate!

What's the horsepower at the wheel and at the crank? Have you got it dyno'ed?

Shucks those wheels and seats are really expensive but look totally worth it.

Engine Mods details please. It would be of great help to a City Type 2 owner wanting his car to go faster.

I believe the offset are 7.0 or 7.5 J am not sure though.
sorry ..late reply.
J is not the ET or offset its the shape of the rim as it appears in the cross section.

The efforts taken in modifying the car is apparent and the end product is excellent. But, I am not too sure about the color. In my opinion, a more subtle shade would have made this City a stunner (Not that this isn't stunning).
