Query on Muffler Install

Im not one for the sounds without the actuall power but anyway the other day my dad got back home(he was using the santro) and while he was pulling up I heard a distinct vroooooooom. I thought it was some neighbours car but lo and behold our santro tailpipe has rusted and got a few holes in it.

It sounds a lot better than the 1.5K muffler some kid in my college has.

That being said I will be replacing the tailpipe. Dont want to have to drive aroudn with the wannabe "free flow". Lol.

Every Santro has this distinct hidden feature. Hyundai provides it free to all customers. LOL!!
It normally starts once the car has done near to 60k kms on odo or 4-5 years down!!

Yeah its a common value added feature of all santro's I reckon! Lol.

Mine has clocked about 57k /Feb'02 model... so pretty accurate prediction there zak.

every Type 1 Santro i see got this free 'vroooom' feature!!

Hi,

He can ask Kooldude he had removed his muffler a while ago when he got the free flow exhaust fitted.

I know one particular Santro in chennai and its driven without a muffler.

wannabeeeee i must say.

but it does have a nice tacho and interior neons and strobes et all...
