Spoiler for Skoda

I know this has been a topic for sometime now , and people have different views on this spoiler. BUt i just want to know does the OEM spoiler for the RS actually costs 16K!!! I have a 1.8TPI, and wanted the OEM spoiler and the dealer quoted me this price for it to be fitted and painted etc.
Anyone who has got one of these please confirm the price, thank you.

Sadly, this is true. The spoiler alone is sold by the dealers for around 13.5K. So painting, fitting and labour charges would take that figure up to around 16. Not worth it at all!

If you really want one, try checking the local "chor bazaar" and you could get lucky.

Silvertone in Delhi sells it for 13.5k plus tax. However 13.5k includes painting & labour..

In Calcutta, the dealer quoted me 12k all inclusive. Others charge 8k all inclusive.
No offense, but I tired the twin blade spoiler on my Rider. Looked like a candidate for the whacky thread. Removed it after a week.
