Hi friends:

My family took delivery of a new 2007 Caribbean Blue metallic Maruti Alto LXi yesterday.

My father-in-law would like to know if somebody in Mumbai can install:
Rear window demister wires, rear washer and wiper on this car.

Can somebody inform us about this please?

The Alto VXI used to come with these.
I think It'll be possible to get the rear wiper and demister fitted glass from Maruti.

Guess what, it's going to be expensive I think.

Once heard that it costs around 30k to fix a rear wiper for the Santro...

The cost is not for the wiper assembly, rather the door panel itself needed to be replaced with the ones of the top-end model to accomodate the wiper assembly...

Dont know about the actual costs for the Alto... But, i dont think its worth the effort.... Go in for rear demister... But, rear wiper is not worth spending that much, i think...
