Mods for Innova 2005(petrol, VVTi)

hi

i own a Innova 2005 Petrol clocked 14k till date, 2nd service done jan 2007.

i want to go for air filter and FFE,
(better go for stock or universal)
i also want to know is it necessary to change to iridium plugs and wiring?
Please also let me know where in Bengaluru can all these stuff can be get it done..

As of now except for the Alloys no other mods have been done yet..

Experts please advise..

if your car isnt under warranty then get the universal. it will be better than stock replcement. if you get iridium plugs then to use their full potential you should change the wiring too.

Hi,

You could go for a K&N air filter and FFE..I doubt whether Iridium plugs would make much difference unless you do a cam job..check out race dynamics at bangalore..he is good in FFE jobb.. Infact n_aditya of Bangalore/ Chennai had his esteem MPFI modded by him and it is great..

Thanks Vikram. But small correction.

Race Dynamics deals with stand alone ECU's and not free flow exhausts.

RAC or Ranjith Auto Care (belongs to rally champ Ranjith Ballal) can help you with modifications to your car, not limiting to FFE's alone.

Speak to The Wolf on this forum for more info. His Vtec which won the SpeedRun last year in Blore was done up by RAC.
