Engine Change

This friend of mine wants to convert his Siena's petrol engine to diesel (petra?). Would like to know

1. Where it can be done in Bangalore
2. Is it legal?. If not how to make it legal ( notify RTO? )

Kindly advise.

Irrespective of where it might be done in Bangalore, the engine is best sourced from Coimbatore, if considering a used engine.

Engine swap by itself is illegal without updating RTO clearance on the RC book

guys check with the rto before changing engines.because if d engine u fit an enigne off a robbed car u gonna be in trouble
