If it can take a turbo Conti engine, a 4A-GE shouldn't be a problem. They only produce as much torque as a Fiat Palio, I think. And AE86 is the generation code, not the engine.

Exactly, and this engine would not pose much a packaging constraint given the size (I dont know the exact dimentions but having seen a AE86 SR5 engine bay, it just struck me that this engine can go into a Padmini).

I have 1991 fiat padmini,its great but iam think its rear suspension is way too hard compared to todays cars,is there anyway i can change that suspension for a more modern one.

Just found these pics I had taken a few years back in Goa. This was modified by Antonio Barretto, of VW fame. The interior sported a Maruti 800 dash if I remember correctly.

Moralfibre tells me that GGG is a Goa government vehicles registration.

hey cool!!! as long as no body copies my style... all my friends like the white one too ... well its stock expect its runnin on apex headers n got a custom mufflar made by an old man who was into racing wen he was young .. it sounds really classy its got a very diff beat n ppl jus love staring at it wen i pass by... apart from that im running on a diff ignition system so ive clocked 130km/ph with 5ppl includin me.. only once ive cleared the meter wen i dragged with a stock zen n that guy got petrified wen he saw the fait pass by coz he didnt have enough courage to drag... lol.

im gettin the black fiat done up at the moment repainting it black ,with a du-point finish... will post pics of it gettin done up.. hey guys why dont u'll introduce urselves to me i feel like a stranger.. also plz gimme some ideas as to wat colour mags would suit the black car.. i tot of painting them silver with a hint of black!! metallic paint.

n btw both cars are mine....
