You cant get alloys that exactly match the Fiat Spec. So it is out of the question.

12 years back we had a red (my idea) 1976 Premier Padmini....with blacked out pillars and white wheels. But then i didn't have a camera and i hadn't heard about TBHP.

Later we changed her color to grey (dad's idea).

Please dont do any skirting job on a fiat. Please Please Please...It looks good as of now. Dont ruin it. Also, why are your wheels in a different color??

Man! That's an awesome car! Just perfect, nothing overdone, and well finished too. It would have looked better with the alloys, but there is a reason for not putting it, so its fine.

But just 1 qn, why dont u ever use this car?? Atleast thats what i've understood.

Dear JayD - there is a reason why I do not use BLL4919 - when I was a college trainee in PAL in 1977, there was one red colour car (tartar red registration number MMD3232, chassis no PA222870, I still remember the chassis number) which was made for the use of Mr.J.M.Vakil, the MD of PAL. I was very thrilled to see that car everyday. It was my dream car. I decided that I would have a dream car like MMD3232 some day but it will be with a black top and it shall look better than MMD3232. I realised that dream after 28 years in February 2005 when I restored BLL4919 exactly the way I wanted it. It was made for not using, just keeping forever. My dream is not yet over. I want it to be parked inside the living room of my house. Someday, this dream also will get realised. I am working on it. I have even gone to the extent of getting the doors to close with a sound exactly like that of a new car. What more can I do? It is the best fiat in India.

Now everybody is telling me to use it. Let's see what to do.

Nobody realises it that for me BLL4919 is not a car, it is the realisation of my dream.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Behram,

Dont know if you believe in numerology, if you do, then 4+9+1+9 happens to be lucky nos. for those born on the 5th.

Behram Sir, The Red 4919 looks beautiful. It does reflect the love & care that you have for the car. Please use the car as you wish too as I would love to see this car gleaming like this even after a few years down the line
