Could you please post some new photos of the car? And as far as your query on the Skirtings, you can do something like Chargermans Fiat. That looks Superb. Flared Wheel Arches!!

Really nice Fiat, chargerman!

What wheels are those? How do you manage to turn the wheel with that wide rubber? Any engine mods?

THAT Fiat makes me want to own one !!!!! This is a nice thoughtfully executed mod. Kudos to the owner / executor !!!

One question though, does your electrical system actually support 6 headlamps ????? Unless you have upgraded the whole setup !!

I remember in the good old days my dad turned off the headlights on Red Light Stops, in order not to let the battery discaharge. We used to watch the Amp Meter very carefully !!!

All said & done - very nice car, love the rims & tyres & flared arches !!

Cheers

Does anyone from Madras remember Sridhar, the Garage Owner on Spurtank Road?
He used to have a BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED White Premier Padmini with Bucket Seats, Floor Shift, Headers I think and fat wheels etc. I used to wish and wish I owned that sort of car, in the '80's.
Also, there was an Ace Rallyist again from Madras, Dr Saboo. He used to own a succession of vicious Premier Padminis - high performance vehicles all of them and they used to look very business like too!

If you have a friend in the RTO, they can help you.

In the USA, DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) records are public. You can ask for it and get it, after providing proof of identification.

Oh yeah ! The one with the 9009 number ? It was repainted to black later.

I've spent most of my childhood in Chetpet and remember drooling at that car. The garage isnt there anymore and neither is the car.

That was one car with an exhaust note straight from heaven
