Hey Hafi,

Why dont you go for beige or dark cream that would look good.

Do post pics of the end result.

Quick question. Do you have to separate the dashboard (from the car) to have it painted?
Another quick one. Why a repaint?

you can go for the double tone kind of finish which the palio 1.2 elx model has. Beige goes very well with black .

as far as i know it is not a paint job. it is a kind of coating which is done by removing the plastic parts. once properly done they dont get scratched and retain the original grain finish. i knew one person who used to do it but he is no more.
does anyone know such person who can do it in mumbai?

And to think that I never knew that the dash could be painted. I thought it has a natural plastic/vinyl finish. Wouldn't painting it look odd ?

There was an S10 here at elektra which had its dashboard painted a slight off white. It was very glossy too match with the fibre work he did to for the audio system. People there told you'll have a hard time driving it because of the glare on the windscreen. Glare is garaunteed if you go for light colours like these and specially if its glossy.
It belongs to a bhpian i suppose, He is the polk audio and alpine dealer here. It had a bangalore registration i think.

Who is this BHPian who is also the Alpine dealer ? I am looking for a good discount on my next alpine HU. LOL

I think the glossy finish on the dash would give you the glare more than the colour.
