Whoa man, your ride is spot-on. Beemers make me drool but tastefully modified are a dream. Kudos to the effort on the car. Hope to see it in flesh someday at a Tbhp meet.

Thanks Slickshift99. If the meet up for next week takes place, will definitely bring her.

Re: The Hound of Bavaria - My heavily modified BMW 328i

UPDATE 1

The front brake pads on the car had worn out so had to get them replaced. Didn't want to go the OEM route and wanted something better this time.

Got in touch with Arush at Autopsyche. He suggested EBC Yellow Stuff. Heard plenty of good things about the yellow stuffs from friends and fellow car enthusiasts so decided to go ahead with the same. Got the front and back pads changed to EBC as the backs were almost at the end of their life cycle too.

While changing the break pads we noticed that the wheel bolts had rusted and had very little thread on them so got them replaced with JR Racing Anti-Theft bolts.

I also got the car serviced and the front wipers had gone kaput, so got them replaced as well.

Rohit from T&R Autoworks (Ceramic Pro) got an outdoor shoot done so attaching the pictures as many members wanted to see some outdoor and interior shots.

Sweet ride bud. How are the EBC Pads with respect to brake dust? I feel the OE Pads generate a lot of brake dust.

Thanks Yakuza.

Got the brake pads installed yesterday so can't really comment on the brake dust as of now.

Re: The Hound of Bavaria - My heavily modified BMW 328i

UPDATE 2

Beginning of this month, members from Delhi planned a meet up. A night before, I took the car out to get the fuel filled up however the car started very abruptly and wasn't idling normally. Something felt really off so decided not to take it on the drive.

A few days later I took it to Arush at Autopsyche, got the car checked and found out that the charge pipe had exploded. We ordered a VRSF aluminium charge pipe kit which was due to get delivered in 8-10 days. However, the charge pipe can't be the sole reason for wrong idling so upon digging further, we found out that the coils and spark plugs had also gone kaput. Got both of them replaced and the charge pipe temporarily fixed.

Also the battery finally gave up after 6 years so got that replaced as well. Went with the OEM Varta battery and hope this one serves me well just like the previous one did.

Fast forward a few days and the charge pipe finally arrived. It is a very well made piece from VRSF finished in powder coated black. Since the install, I definitely notice an increased throttle response and the car feels more responsive than ever. All members with F30's, I strongly suggest you to go ahead with this mod as one day or the other, the stock charge pipe will fail on you.
