ram.west, you can check with Sekar @ 9841125723. He works for accessory shops for art leather seat fitment & he too stitches art leather seats at his own shop. You can negotiate well and get it for dirt cheap without compromising much on quality when compared to those accessories shop at GP road

The Safari seat covers cost around 4500 bucks and Adamjee had only one pattern for either of the interior colours.

Bolero Seat Modification

Hi Guys!
I'm 5'11" tall and I've tried all seat positions, there is obsolutely no thigh support and it's a real pain to drive long distances. Has anyone in this forum modified the front seats of a Bolero for the above reason? If so I request you to provide some details - like how and where it was done. Mine is a Special Edition Bolero with stock European Leather Seats!

stanley leather seats for linea - chennai

went to stanley boutique chennai for checking out automotive seats for my linea. was amazed by the quality of leather they have although my budget would make me afford the lowest quality they have. had a talk about the car seats to mr.vijay the sales executive who was very helpful in showing me around. seems they have template of seats for most indian cars. they had one for even the newly launched linea. seems if it is a imported car they will have the car for 3 days for creating a template. the covers are made ready only in banglore and will take 3 days for the covers to come from there after finalising the finish and tones. and it will take 6 hours for the fitment. for linea they dont do door pads, for other cars they do that too. they have 4 qualities of leathers scandinavian is the premium quality and classis is the lowest one. for linea dual tone leather covers costs 28k but they were willing to give me 20% discounts.

seems the mould of the seats will just be the same as in origional. they will ripp off the origional fabrics and put these ;leather ones. they also said it will not a great comfortability factor to the seats if the origional were not comfortable but seems they will add 1 inch cushion foam so it will be much softer than the other seats. when i asked whether they can add another 1 inch foam more , he said that is not recommended as it will compromise on the safety and it will not be so comfortable in inclination of seats.
for designing they have a few catalogues with which we can select designs. and you need to bring the car to their premies for doing so.

i am getting delivery of my linea on wednesday. going to go there on monday to do the seats.will keep you people posted

for contact

stanley boutique
no21, 3rd street, wallace garden, off khader nawaz khan road ( road opp to mocha)chennai

you can contact mr.vijay at 9940369999

seems they are switching to a new domain so their new website is

::------------------Stanley Seating------------------::

:: Welcome to Stanley Boutique ::

ps: they dont offer free cleaning of leather seats in chennai as in banglore due to lack of man power. they charge rs650/- per cleaning which they recommend once in 3 months. seems except ball point ink everything can be cleaned with johnson and johnson baby soap at home.
