How much for a mivec engine. Since its a bolt on are there any additional cost involved which we are not aware of? What about parts, in case we need any?

A swap is a swap is a swap....... So there are bound to be some unforeseen things which would need to be done. Will only find out once we are actually on the job as in start with the job. Will let you know as it progresses.

Cheers

Ricky I found something interesting for you to drool at. Check this link out - Got $15,000 ??? - VelocidadMaxima.com

It is a Mitsubishi Motor and gives out some serious power! I know it is not a practical daily driver but nevertheless a nice engine

FINALLY the "Run-in" of the redone (OE) engine has happened !!! It is at the workshop getting its "nuts & bolts" looked at Itching to drive at not so restrained RPM's & get the KICK so to say. She is also getting a "slight" makeover

Will keep the update happening once I get the car back from the w/shop. MIVEC dropped at least for now.

Cheers

One word WOW - that is how she drives now after the initial run-in & a trip to the workshop later. New engine oil & a looksie at the tapets etc. The gear shift at 6500 RPM gives out quite a roar. The performance now is amazing...

And Yes - she now has a BLACK HOOD - a new look - will post pictures shortly. The drive today was truly a great experiance to say the least. Three cheers to Arush...

Cheers

the hood looks sweet. but the car needs tints. light ones will also look good.

Are they not allowed at all in delhi?
