Do you mean stock replacement filter??if yes it doesnt make any difference.go for conical ari filter but dont change the pipe,it makes you lot of trouble in 1.6.
But i suggest you dont change anything, palio 1.6 is meant to be kept stock, fiat engine is too puzzling and its hard to add this mods on it.
cheers and good luck.

There is another cosmetic interior change I am planning.

I want to change the door (all) fabric to art leather black colour and if possible get a armrest build for front seat(may be custom built) .

Are there people who do it in Mumbai or are there any one stop shops for all these interior cosmetic changes?

Fiat Palio 1.9 D ELX Sport

Friends
I have just become a proud owner of a Sweet Bird,
In the form of a Used Canary Yellow Fiat Palio 1.9 D ELX Sport, Loaded completely. The Owner is selling it off since he needs to Upgrade to a bigger diesel and I just needed to move from Petrol to Diesel.
Now I had seen people wondering (even I was sceptical ) when Roopakr had mentioned his Car , but since I own one now, I have to say that this car is having more punch than regular 1.9 D

I want to have your advise on the K & N Conical filter's effect on a diesel Engine. I have managed to salvage it from my older petrol Palio.a few parts of which I have managed to sell while a lot is still on in the Garage sale

Secondly can anyone suggest an Audio Guru and tech guru in Chandigarh who can give me a clean install for the ICE and the Filter. I m tired of DIY stuff which makes you feel very proud but is pathetically garish

Before you guys ask for Pics , I will upload after I get the car delivered (Loan in process)

Guys I am looking for Guy Crofts book on Modifying and Tuning FIAT and Lancia Twin Cam Engines. It retails for £500.00 and I do not have that budget to buy it. Does anyone know if this would be available in British Council Library or any other library?

Dear All,

I am New to Team BHP and am looking for some good budies and good information.

I have a Fiat Palio 1.2 , Done 17K KMS.

I have a few queries:

1. I am willing to go for a FFE for my Car...Can anyone suggest the best one for the Low-Mid End Tuned FFE for my Car.

2. For the FFE is it Advisable to go for the whole Kit. On the Palio the Headers are 4X2X1 already and the Cat-Con is Bolted to the Header Flexible pipe and can be removed. Is it possible to have only the Expansion Chanber, Pipes and the End Muffler without changing the Headers??

3. I am Planning to go for a stock replacement for my airfilter. I have come to seen that the Fiat Intake of Air is from behind and is equal to a cold air intake. So is is not better to go for a Stock replacement as the Stock Casing can serve as a Cold Intake Box.

Well Currently my car runs on 93/97 Octane and has 14" PLati 20 Spoke Alloys.

Hope to see some suggestions on this...thanks...
