The one on GTX is a automech FFE which you can say there is a slightly change in power improvement (BTW there's a RActive air filter under the hood too) but if you want my opinion I say dont go for it. Mine makes a lot of noise ,harsh noise actually that makes averybody inside and outside the car mad at you. 1.6 has a good power itself ,i say play safe and enjoy your lovely stock output. cheers

Well I just received (an paid for ) my new Automech exhaust system. It looks o.k., and I hope that I have made a good purchase.

I do think that the stock exhaust is somewhat restrictive and very muffled. There is almost no noise with the stock exhaust. So if the Automech is reasonably free flow, I expect it to make a good difference with my driving style. I tend to rev this motor in the 4 to 5 k range frequently and notice a good amount of restriction in the exhaust side.

I will like you folks know how it works in a day or two.

Maybe you are referring to the rally-spec Super 2000 Punto Abarth, which puts out 280 bhp from a 2000cc mill, which is actually borrowed from the Alfa 156 WTCC car.

The highest specific output for any 1.6 litre engine is 200 bhp, on the old Nissan Pulsar/Sunny GTi-R.

Please stick to facts and figures, and make sure they are true. Otherwise I will be forced to bring in my 6 litre Hemi-powered Alto which gives me 38 kmpl.
I found this one today ..... 1.6L engine developing 215HP

Dunno how much of it is true tho

Wow!!!! 215HP? Hope HP and BHP are the same metric ...Read in Fiat forums that 1.6L palio touched 210Kmph on indian road but not my cute 1.2L.

Wow! That looks amazing! I am not usually motivated by cosmetic mods, but this one looks neat and comfortable as well.

How does the horn work now, Hellspawn?

Also, is the distance of the steering wheel from your body now same or changed?
