A proper Cold Air Intake. Yes most OE intakes are from under the fender to get max cold air in, instead of that from hot engine bay.

Its been an year i guess, so how is she doing now?

i think there are chances of water getting into the filter during rainy season.

Not sure about after the aftermarket CAI but at least with the stock filter I have driven through a flooded road where water came up to my windshield and my car seems to have survived. the air intake in the fender was the only thought in my mind but later when i checked the air filter box was dry
