Tacho For Maruti 800

Dear All,

Can you please tell me where can i get a tacho for maruti 800 carb model in mumbai and what should be the approx cost. I've searched quite a lot places in mumbai and dealers have told me that's it's outdated and u won't get a new one.

True.. But you can install any Tacho for the 800..
It depends.. Are you buying it for Accessory purpose??
A good tacho can cost anywhere 4G upwards.

Hi,

You need a tacho that works with 3 cylinder cars only. A tacho meant for 4 cylinders or more will not work correctly.

My primary requirment is to get the sporty feel at the same time I want to know at what RPM engine is operating as I'm planning to get a free flow done in it and I don't want to get in the habit of Rev up . Also it becomes difficult to judge the engine RPM by the feel only with the free flow working. But don't u think 4G is little on higher side ?

You can use a simple Pricol tachometer would cost you around 900rs. you can try milan subway. i got mine at Six eleven auto accesories but that was for a 4 cylinder. I remember prakash automobile having a pricol 3 cylinder one around a year back

100 bucks max, in fact the auto acessories guy should do it for free.
