I figured out the reason for my confusion with the alloys. I was mistaking Ishan's car with RedOne's which does indeed run on OZ alloys.

@ Gr8Nuzzler - Thanks boss, suspension coming soon!

@Deeps - Like BUSA & KP mentioned she's always been on the stock alloys.

@MF - Thanks man, they are great tyres & that's why I recommend them!!

@Ankit - Thanks man, looking forward to your review of the Energy's!

@ Jitu - Dhanno's running great man! Loads of grip, lots more steering & seat of the pants feel compared to the Energy's, really enjoying them & will be even more fun after the suspension revamp.

Extra money for OZ ? Ishaan you should have asked Dr. Mallya. He would have given you some frequent flyer bonus..
Cheersss
Thanks Bhushan bhai that's a good line!!!!! And Michelin availbility is not an issue around here. Easily available they are!

And I asked Dr. Mallya for the OZ's but he's already tired of paying for my Flight tickets & Beer so refused straight out

Thanks Gautam. Well I changed them now because one they were bald like KP mentioned & two because this week I had the oppurtunity, time & more importantly the money to do it so had it done since suspension work was due very shortly anyways. And I reckoned running 500kms on the old suspension wouldn't be too damaging.

Here is a pic I hadn't posted earlier of how bald one of the tyres had become and this one had even developed a bulge.

@DoctorKats - Thanks Doc, she's running good now, will become great once the suspension & other minor issues are sorted out!!!

Iraglings - Where are you getting your suspension work done from.

But Malaya makes Beer and has bought a Airbus 380, so he wouldnot have to pay for it, plus you can give him a nice discount from your tyre shop when Malaya plans to upgrade the tyres on his Airbus or the 747

Neat tyres those Michelin PPs. My friend did the same when he bought his vtec & they are simply amazing. He has already completed 9000Kms & so far so good. Yeah, get that suspension done quickly too.

P.S. This thread could be renamed to tyre wallah ka tyre change saga.

Da Dead Hors. Or, Jhoot Boley Kawwa Kaatey.

ishan, don't con all these poor T-BHPians. You tyre-wallahs are all the same.

You've fitted the Michelin Pi-Pees because you had dead stock lying around in your shop. Not because they're better.

If you had a choice, you'd install Goodyear Eagle Venturas, na?
