Yeah, if he had a choice between which of them would sell & which he would have to take, he would have taken the venturas, Pet Detective.

Ok guys the car was given to the workshop yesterday morning & by evening she had been more or less completely disassembled for all the work that was due. I was there all day so have quite a few pictures to post & will also post a complete list of parts being replaced/repaired.

Suspension being taken off

Leaking Axle which is going to be replaced

Leaking Shocker

The other side axle, also being replaced

Now when doing this dismantling we discovered another problem that the Steering Rack had also developed a leak. See below:

So we took that off to be investigated:

And sure enough there was a leak. However, after cleaning it up & sending to the machinist it was found that only the oil seals at the sides were leaking & the major structure had no cracks/leaks. So with new oil seals this one would be reused!! Yay for saved cost & Independent Garages!!! If this had been a Honda authorised SS I would have been considerably poorer!

More pics to follow, alongwith some clutch issues & complete list of components being replaced.

I think pics will do the work fine no need to carry around the part with him...as his boot is full with suitcases and soda bottle and what not...if you happen to see his car it is his full house in there.....this is one person I have meet who travels a lot......
