Sure.. Here are my 2cents anyway.

1. Air intake -- Good since you have a Turbo.. More the air the better
2. FFE -- NO.. Please for the love of God No..
3. Pump and injectors -- Will ask
4. Other performance mods -- Get the suspension tuned. See Steeroids vehicle.

as long as i heard....all mechs say that it is normal in this vehicle.....i even check with my uncle's scorp...same thing appears in it too...and goddy, ask pyscho what kinda air intake is suitable...also ask the brand and pricing buddy..

most of bhpians say that putting a k&n might produce intake sound...but im into try putting something like a cold air intake or more like a forced air induction to squeeze every bit of power from mill..so plss verify with pyscho about this..

Looks like the exhaust manifold and turbine side housing are rusted atleast on the surface, being made of cast iron.

badboyscad...real mean lookin machine there...especially the blue color.

i'd suggest not to go for roofrails. drilling holes on the roof for fitment will attract rust as it cannot be done like in the factory. besides, the vehicle looks slick without the roof rails anyways. i personally don't like the 'tall' stance the scorpio has with the rails.

about the claddings...why don't you paint it a dark shade of grey (70% black matt). that would make it look awesome ! heres how it would look:

thanx for the photoshopping NIP...but black may look a little akward since the other black body parts have faded considerably..so im planning to paint them somewhat like dark aluminium finish(silver grey)..check out the pics on the previous pages..

Hi,

I dont think there is anything wrong with the manifold rusting. In fact take a look at any car manifold made out of casting they will all be more or less the same condition irrespective whether they are petrol or diesel. Most cars have a heat shield covering the manifold so you dont see the "rust"
As the Mahindra guys rightfully said it is Ok and you have nothing to worry about.

hi viper, i've hear of this porting and polishing the engine, can it be done to a diesel engine like in the scorpio. and since my ride doesn't have and ECU, what are the other tweaks that can be done to the engine to increase performance??
