the one on the Club opens only halfway.. The actual use of this is to open completely. See if you can get a model where there is metal instead of glass.. Its more safer.. My friends Music system was stolen and they entered the car by breaking the sunroof.

its not new.. they come as standard on Most Mercs..and i think even webasto has it.. I am not sure what it's called though.
It functions like a normal sunroof but once you close it you can not even make out that the car has a sunroof.

I've seen that on old Merc E-Class's but didnt know they were metal. But thats like old fashion now i guess. All the new cars come with the glass sunroof rite..

Yeah they do come with glass type.. But if you want safety this is the one to go for.

i will not be surprised (rather pleased) if our desi entrepreneurs come up with a grill for sunroof safety.

easier to break a sunroof.. Less noisy also.. put a wrench in between the glass and the roof.. pull it.. **crack** there your go.. you are in.

Hey next on the list of mods for my civic is a sunroof..went and met the INALFA dealer in bangalore..just wanted to know which sunroofs are better quality n finish wise INALFA or WEBASTO? thanks and im getting it put here in bangalore so please suggest where to get it done if WEBASTOs are better

webasto is the best in sunroofs.

i would love something like what the optra lt comes with and im told thats for 75000. what are other options since i refuse to pay that much amount on sunroof..... i mean u can get optra lts for 4.5laks

Hey nos_nitrous,
Try PFM Accessories on Mission Road, they deal in Webasto if I remember right.
On Mission Road, take a left into Shamrao Compound(same compound has Stanley Leather Seats and a Hyundai Service Center among others).

yea santosh i went there only they deal in INALFA sunroofs not WEBASTO...and they claim that inalfas are even better than webasto sunroofs..and the prices he quoted were more than the webastos
