Guys, I want to buy a sports steering for my zen. Am in qatar right now, and tom, am going shopping for some headlight bulbs and tachometer. So I will pick up a momo/sparco replica steering too. But the issue is, what about the hub? Is it safe if I buy just the steering and buy the hub in India? the roots company one. Will they all fit?

You can get a hub here for rs.700 to rs.1000 depending upon the brand.

On the zen is there an unobstructed view of the instrument cluster with an aftermarket wheel?(expected to be smaller in diameter).

well i not gone through line by line of every post in this thread so just ignore if already mentioned,

the after market steering wheels often breaks the switches that are responsible for turning off the indicators when we turn the steering in the opposite direction.

i guess this happens if there is some mis-match in fixing the wheel or size differences has happened to many of my friends. But i got to admit not all the steering wheels my friends have are originals, few are replicas but still imagine to get that switch fixed in the A.S.S will cost some REAL $$$ bills!

i think people opt for after market steering wheels just for the show or for the actual racing touch but both ways air bags are a compromise you will have to make! i really doubt they can hold in an air bag!

Looks awesome. Original MOMO?! How much did you pay for it? Here in bangy, it is around 12k IIRC.

I paid 11k for the steering wheel and 5.5k for the momo steering hub.
