Thank you so much. Haven’t dyno’d yet, but will do it soon. Have seen a lot of dyno’d Wolf Stage2 TDIs pushing about 205+hp and around 500nm torque, so I’m expecting the figures to be somewhere there, and trust me it feels like a 6 cylinder which pushes almost the same figures.

Thank you so much for the kind words. The excitement of the upgrade in each step is something else, that can’t be put into words. The fuel efficiency has only improved for me. Under sedate driving it returns 10-20% extra FE, but under a heavy foot, you’ll probably loose out on fuel considerably more, so it’s totally upto the driving style of an individual. Trust me or not, in Bangalore traffic I’m getting about 12-14 kmpl, and in the highway drive from Coimbatore to Bangalore, I got a whopping 24 kmpl, which is staggering in my opinion.

I have the same thing as your friend does, the 2.0 TDI MT (2019). No remaps or anything, as the car is under extended warranty until Dec 2025, but am just curious as to the actual difference (specifically w.r.t. mileage) it makes to have that kinda remap. Thanks again in advance. |
Hey, no worries, the pleasure is all mine. So the cost for the entire process would be:
Stage2 ECU + Stage2 TCU= ₹54000
SS304 Custom Downpipe = ₹22000
ITG Air Filter + Channel guide = ₹15000
(the air filter part isn’t necessary at all by any means, get a cheaper one or just leave it at stock, the stock air filter itself does a good job, and this is totally optional).
F.E has only increased post remap, but again it depends on your driving style, if you drive sedately its expected to return 10-20% better efficiency, in the case of heavy footed driving, you’ll loose out on F.E more heavily, and there’ll be a nosedive in the F.E. Apart from that stage2 seems like the best possible performance upgrade to go for if you’re in the pursuit of raw power, without upgrading the turbo and other internals. I’d strongly recommend it for your car, as my friend’s car is even more a blast to drive and he’s done his stage2 when the ODO ticked 1,20,000 kms, and it’s a blast to drive, feels like a real upgrade, that manual 2.0 TDI is something else after stage2.
