My list goes here...

1) Irritating reverse horns.
2) The Auto cop loud buzzers.
3) Fake Air scoops on the hood.
4) Fancy musical horns
5) LED near the head lights
6) Raunchy stickers, especially the boy with those yuck looking alien eyes.

The musical reverse horns, musical air horns and the bright blue/white useless headlights are the ones that I find most irritating.

Just cant help laughing at all those who have those 5-6 rows of stickers on the sides .

5-6 rows of stickers on the sides are inspired by Fast and furious series of movies.

Guys the mother of modification blunder is a maruti 800 modified into becoming a ferrari.. Imagine... Its owned by a guy JESwant in bangalore. The cheapest modification ever. Got 4 TVS-50 headlight for headlight, old 7inch black n white TV and VCR fitted inside. Regular wall switches for extra lights in the car. Yuck yucks, yucks... Mechanic is some guy in banaswadi i think.

Here's my list:

First place goes to those irritating reverse sirens.

A close second goes to those cabs who've wired their brake lights and reverse lamps to blink when the vehicle brakes! I hate that! So psychedelic and distracting!

Last place goes to Stickering! - Any kind! Ferrari on an 800, NOS, Brake Manufacturers etc etc!!

Special mention goes to irritating hissing tweeters.. If you really wanna hiss your way into musical bliss, leave the windows up!!

Tassem.

dont know if this qualifies as irritating or not, but it really made me laugh out.
Barakhamba road, this red swift next to me.
Standard stickers on the side(k&n,Greddy, fox and camburg(surprising), etc...)
but, i gave him the benefit,of doubt.
Maybe a genuine petrol junkie.
see, he didnt have both "k&n" and "Pipercross filters" stickers(as ive seen quite a few of).
but all such hopes were dashed.
the exhaust tip had that "dhakkan", you know, the one with a small hole surrounded by even smaller holes?
i mean, what was the point,IFF he had gotten anything done to the plumbing at all, which i doubt.
probably found a surplus of stickers in patel nagar..

good for a chuckle,this boy.

PS:adding on to the names on the rear screens, has anyone seen these oafs with names AND phone numbers emblazoned on the glass,or if theyre slightly more subtle, on the license plates.
Incoming free?Virgin mobiles?

I have a feeling there is a flame waiting for me. But my pet hates are:
- High beams with 100/90 bulbs on Bangalore roads. The worst culprits are hatchbacks. I am like , Buddy do you want to take a photo of oncoming vehicles or see the road.
- Extremely dark sunfilm in rear-window. I cannot see if there is a cow ahead of you and if you brake hard I would have to kiss you! /* I back out or overtake when I have to be behind such a car */

No flame for the first point, but happy to oblige you on the second

You should never be so close to the car in front that you would hit it if it stopped suddenly, even for no apparent reason.

flame over!

Taking every available clue about the road ahead, including seeing through, around, and even under the car ahead is good driving, so consider the flame only a lukewarm one

Tassem.
Absolutely agree with you on these 3, the reverse sirens are the most itrritating, specially at 2 AM in the night with a car with L on both ends, taking for ever to park.

I have not seen\experienced this Accessory as of now,but heard quite a lot about it.

A Mic inside the car, wired to a speaker.
So whatever you speak inside,is easily audible to other road users

Sometimes I am embarrassed that even the people inside the car can hear what I say --- why on earth would anyone want to broadcast it?

Are you sure that its an accessory? Because, if the car is owned by some lottery ticket seller in Kerala you will probably find that sort of equipment. Its used to announce results, and attract public to buy lottery. These cars are also sometimes used during election campaigning.

Ahhh... a PA system!

Had this mental picture that people were doing that with ordinary conversation.

Mind you, those who inflict their music on us might do that
