Sometimes you have these pink/red ribbons stuck on to the bonnet line. Hate them.

I can help you on that. In most other countries the knobs on the steering wheels are used to help disabled people whilst driving. In india it appears to be top of the boyracer wants list.

It is used by taxi drivers who drive all day. It lets you control the steering singlehandedly with little effort. I know a taxi driver who swears by it. It is also used by handicapped drivers.

Hi all,
I dont know why people have to be irritated by somebody else's accessory unless and until it becomes a nuisance say for eg a reverse horn or a loud woofer.I don't know why people find it irritating because they find tiger skin on somebody's dashboard or somebody has a knob on the wheel.

I think life is too short to be irritated such small things.Basically all i see is a list of things people wouldn't like to have for themselves in their cars.
So maybe next time you see something you think irritates in somebody else's car just be thankful you don't own it and let it go.

cheers

my list would be-

1) filmy reverse horns
2) twinkling LEDs (mostly blue or red) on rear sensors & inside headlights
3) wacky stickers
4) logos of premium brands on marutis & tatas
5) Luggage carriers on hatchbacks & sedans

Well, I have seen an i10 with a luggage carried and also a front and rear bumper. It takes the wow factor from the car. Makes it look ugly. But I am sure there would have been a purpose for these retro fitment. I feel a little annoying (not really irritated) seeing these.

I too have an i10 (Era) that is absolutely stock with no retros. It looks much elegant than i10 (Sportz) with the above accessories I had mentioned.

1. Stickers : now a days its become a fashion to put stickers of all famous car brands/accessories on the doors. I guess many wouldnt even know what that brand manufactures.

2. fancy reverse horn: normal reverse horns are ok, but these fancy and film songs reverse horn are annoying to the core.

Also I just remembered. Couple of years back for 2-wheelers, 'brake sound' was a crazy. i.e whenever a guy applies the brakes a weird 'tin tin tin tan tan tan' sound used to come from mini speakers. Luckily there was no such thing for cars.

Do you mean the ones that come on a new car or is it something else?

These tops my list:

1) Reverse music of some silly bollywood song. (or rather any reverse music)
2) Sticker at the back - of a dog lifting up some cloth and peeping out.
3) Floral arrangement / fur lining on the dashborad - some people swear by it, saying it eases driving - they say they can now clearly distinguish between road and the dash!
4) Badges of BMWs and the likes in Altos and similar cars of wannabes. It kills both the brands!
5) Sporty and flashy sticker work in cars like Alto - what an attitude with a tinbox!
6) Very dark sun films on the side & rear glasses. Just hate to sit inside such cars.
7) Some cheap car perfumes which smells so strong that even after getting out of the car, your cloths smell the same way.
8) Big dolls/thingys hung from the inside RVM, which obstructs the view.
9) That tiger's doll / teddy bear kept on the rear parcel tray - Yuk!!
10) Rear wind shield with the kids name / house name / wife's name written on it.
11) Bling wheel cups in tiny wheels
12) Additional external RVM affixed on the bonnets of M800s/Altos.
13) Rain shield (I don't know what you call it) affixed on all the side window tops.

14) Bullet holes - in rear glass , fuel lid
15) Dagger piercing the sheet metal and blood coming out
16) football shattering the rear glass.
