Seen that kinda P.A. System in Maruti Van in my town, which is used to sell cut-piece clothes, its usually parked on different locations and the seller keeps on irritating you with his talks about how good his clothes are.

For Me Most Irritating: Kerala Perpective

1. Huge Roots Megasonic Horns on all Kerala Govt Cars. Not exactly soothing on the fellow motorists ear.

2. Long LED strips Along the length of the front grille and sometimes even on the rear boot. I find it distracting and coveys a great deal about the guys taste.

3. Zero Percent Visibility Tints on Cars. Invariably every car sold in Kerala has one. Dealers happily offer it as a freebie as they cost just next to nothing.
Imagine sitting in the rear bench of a Maruti Swift with such Tints. Its going to be a scary affair. (I am claustrophobic)

Er...really no offense but this thread is for 'car' accessories.

Also, 'logos' ain't no accessories. Even on autos. Though they are weird for sure.

And why just honda/toyota? I see many 'tata' badged autos as well.

Regards.

And the award for Most Irritating Accessory goes to ->

"Reverse Horn"

Citation :

I live in a flat system, on the stilt floor. So the whole ground floor is used as Parking. Now whenever someone takes his vehicle out or inside the parking, this wicked horn shouts like hell, and some times that too at wee hours.

My list (in the descending order of irritation level):

1. Powerful headlamps
- Many new drivers don't even know that they are not supposed to use high beams inside city in traffic.
- Have anyone noticed that the headlamps of Omni and TATA ACE are the most irritating?

2. Horn at the hands of premature-born-drivers. (Sorry for the harsh word)

3. Reverse horn, as everyone here agrees. A guy in our aprt always comes in at 1100 pm and takes forever to finish parking. And since it's basement parking, it echoes and sounds louder.

4. Bright taillamps of Santro (Brighter than required)

5. Blue LED fittings anywhere in the car.

My hate list includes

1. That sharp sounded reverse horn/music. (a unanimously agreed hate accessory)
2. Abnormally large 'sun shades' for windows.
3. Tiger skin upholstery.
4. Jutting out, colored fiber wheel cups
5. LED strips
6. Chrome door handles.
7. Ferrari sticking on an 800
8. Numberplates in home language.

Very much in English. I think Kodava is the name of a caste in Coorg geo.

India is such a diverse country you know! We are proud to assign castes to even our vehicles.

Kodagu (kannada) = Coorg (English).
Kodava = people who are originally from Coorg.

Among others Coorg is popular for 2 main things. 1) Coffee 2) Most people in Indian Armed Forces from Karnataka are from Coorg!
90% of the Coorgi cars will have their standard logo sticker on their cars.

Coming back to the topic of most irritating accessories...Have you guys heard this horn which keeps echoing? That is just sick

Thank you,
-Z

Forgot to mention about one more sticker:
"Don't kiss me" on the back of an autorickshaw.

Why the hell anyone would wanna kiss a bloody auto?
