Nice thread;
I think the most irritating accessories are:
1.Reverse music or tune or whatever **** it is,it kills me specially when people install some stupid tune for it.
2.After market wheels caps, specially those spining ones.
3.Silly seat cove like tiger ones.
4.Lots of neon light all over the car.
5.Stupid paint job
6.Decalls(oh this is madness ferrari sign on a bike)
7.Fake air vent.

But how do you expect to get decent performance without fake air?

A 3D decal of an engine in the rear should be needed to use all that air

Just saw one awesome accessory. On the exhaust pipe there was a small propeller. As the engine would rev the fan would spin faster. To top it off he had green LED's all over the exhaust. So it would look like the LED's were spinning. The LED's were so bright I could see the car from traffic signal to the other.

What you saw was actually a classified vehicle from the Ministry of Space. They're testing Ion-drive engines for their Chandrayaan-1 Lunar mission.

Btw, you didnt hear this from me ...

I'm sure that the "McLaren" Maruti 800 I saw yesterday would have been both 4*4 and turbo?

for me

1) it would definitely be those reversing music.
2) dash idols with led lamps, the normal ones (small and from divinity is fine)
3) although hate soft toys i nthe car, i love pillows in the rear of the car.
4) have you seen those spring type thingies that hang in your rear view mirror that go up and down? (absolutely hate them)

OT: this is my first post with the BHPian status.

My most irritating accessories:

1. A reverse horn with some song playing (Agar tum mil jaao, zamaana chhod denge hum) Gimme a break!!
2. Names of little brats of the family stuck on the rear windscreen (Bunty, Jignesh, Poonam etc)
3.Decals of a dog peeping out of the metal, cricket ball crashed into the windscreen, bullet holes
4. Ferrari stickers on small cars
5. Pillows and soft toys on the rear parcel tray obstructing view. How dumb can you get..
6. CD hanging from the Inner RVM
7. Loud thumping music systems, announcing their arrival. It makes me feel sick in the stomach.

That hanging CD: Why on earth do people do it?

You can get plastic fingers sticking out of the boot, like someone's trapped in there and trying to lift the lid from inside. Pretty damn stupid.

But the first time I saw it it made me laugh a lot!
