How about information on steering wheels with buttons ? Can we get such steerings as accessory's in India? ( If not then remote is the way to go

Was this Pioneer Remote control is compatible with all the HUs?
I have a Sony Xplod one, Base one with the Ipod connectivity and a remote along side with this ? should i need to add any more receivers to the HU so that this signals can be received?

you can find it in national market. go to misrimal shop. he will give you the best price. its located in the basement of the building. on the left lane. the shop is on the right.

Hello guys, would anybody be able to tell me where I could pick up these controls for a JVC DVD HU which did read steering remote ready? Would the interface run on Infra or does it involve wires? Dumb question but had to ask.

read up some reviews about the unit on the link below. ppl says that direct sunlight affects the infrared operation of the remote.. does this happen in your case?

Nope, Pioneer Steering Remote is compatible only with Pioneer HUs.

Didn't face any such probs, but once in a while Remote doesn't operate when the Steering moves to the awkward direction while driving.

Guys,

I am disapponinted to see that only Blaupu and Pio has steering remote. Does any one know anything as steering remote for Kenwood head units.

Yup, I love controlling the stereo from the steering wheel. But its a good option only with a factory fit. I have used the Pioneer after-market option and dont think too much of it.

Yes the Pioneer remote will work with all Pioneer HU's. No need for any mods. I picked up my Pioneer remote for Rs. 1200 about a year back.

Nope, you have to make sure that your HU is compatible with the remote. It does work with most HU's but not all of them. I know because I ordered one of ebay, and then found that the Pioneer HU in my Accord was not compatible.
