Accent looks good with a spoiler? Guess i dont agree with that one.
The car looks quite plain and executive like.

Agree with that. IMO the Accent does not look good with spoiler. Infact, even the Baleno also does not look good with spoiler. But then perceptions vary from person to person.

The OHC and the Lancer are the only ones that I loved with spoiler. They rock, especially the stock spoiler on the OHC.

thats true OHC and Lancer look cool with the spoiler and so is the Baleno with the Spoiler
it somehow diverts the attention from the old fashioned tail lights and overall result is that the rear looks cool with a spoiler

Guys sorry to be a party spoiler here. I though the thread was about " Baleno with rear Spoiler or without it " . Why are we pulling in other brands?

with you. If the OEM spoiler was a bit raised like the one on designation Baleno, it would look nice. The OEM spoiler is too low and IMO, without a spoiler baleno looks nice.

Spoiler - yes
Stock spoiler - no

Try to get an aftermarket spoiler like @designation. You could even experiment with some other cars' spoilers (Lancer, Civic etc) as some have suggested. Some Photoshopping seems to be called for!
The OE spoilers don't really add much to the look IMHO.

Although I plan to change the stock spoiler on my Baleno, I've never really found it odd looking... it seemed to fit right in to the look. In fact, Balenos have a very "bare" look without one (in the not-so-good sense).

I think its all about ownership and getting used to it. Before buying a Baleno, I hated its rear. Today I love that rear and would not want to change it.

Similarly, since I bought an Lxi, I like the no-spoiler look. If I had bought a Vxi, I am sure I would have been posting here that it looks better with spoiler.

As far as I know there is one recently painted black (that too BMW black) Lancer Spoiler which can be used for some experiment...
