Is it that the owner will not go back to reduced power cause he gets used to having a more powerful engine?

Or is it that the box cannot be switched back to lower mods?
You get used to the extra power and you would not go back. Ofcourse you can shift up or down on the box at any time.

You need a universal filter preferably a CAI.

Dont go for KnN, Green Cotton filters are better suited to diesel cars then KnN, plus Peter has a proper kit for the Swift diesel for the CAI.

Busa, Great review of your set up. I have heard of Peted Octys getting more torque and juice out of the engine with no loss in FE.

If I had a Diesel car I would have Peted it for sure.

Time to test drive the Swift D as I dont know anyone who has one yet. Lots of raves about it.

Yes thats the best thing about the box, more power and no loss in FE, more savings and more fun and so easy to install in just 10 minutes.

What?? You havenot TD'ed the Swift Diesel, its high time you do it, engine is the best part of this car.

Really exiting …
Busa, Do you have ABS in your car? Is n’t it a worth addition when you have this kind of raw power under the hood? You also mentioned you felt brakes are loose. Any one knows can we fit ABS in a VDI dose not having it?

I don't think that ABS can be added as after market fitment. At least it is not provided by the Maruti Suzuki.

Yes ABS is a must, i have it in my car, had to wait 3 months for ABS against a week for non-ABS, waited for the ABS one and totally worth it, mind you need wider rubber, i have 195 tyres too still the torque is so crazy you need to apply more brakes to come to a standstill, nothing wrong with the brakes, thats just the first impression, now at same RPM in same gear before and after petes box the acceleration differs and thats the immediate thought about brakes feeling loose, but brakes are quite decent, rear's dont support though and you can add ABS aftermarked.
