FE Update

Update of FE figures

Normal driving without Petes - 15.5kmpl(never taking above 3000RPM)

With Petes on Stage 1 - 15.25kmpl(with high RPM Launches, high speed dashes, several times 0 - 100 testing and upshifts at 5000RPM aka hard driving)

So there surely is a increase in FE, with that kind of driving i used to get 14.5 without Petes, so indeed you can have your cake and eat it to. Now with normal driving with Petes, lets see what FE figures i can get.

No, there is no petes for petrol. Search some pages back in this thread. I think someone has replied to similar question for petes alternative for petrol.

There is Racedynamics Standalone ECU for Petrol Swifts. CNBC Auto Show did a feature on this, they claimed to have cut 0-100 by atleast a Sec n half.

Those FE figures look impressive Busa ! Can you find out whats the effect on FE if driven carefully [Read: No 0-100 dashes, high revving, gear shift at high rpm etc. ]

@Busa

Great review and pics. I contacted Petes and am picking up the green filter for now, Is it advisable to put an exhaust for the diesel?

My friend recently picked up a Remus Exhaust for his octavia, i believe that Remus speciliases in Diesel engine exhausts.

Thanks Vignesh, Well the green filter is a amazing filter, about exhausts you wont notice much difference. Though the best mod for power/FE/Torque is undoubtedly the Petes Digital Tuning Box.

I am not aware about Remus specializing in diesels and there aint any exhaust system for the Swift D from Remis AFAIK.

Remember reading in Overdrive long-term report that they have bought Remus exhaust for Swift DDiS.

me too thinks it was the petrol. i know the editors kids and they have a petrol with the free flow exhaust. maybe that isnt the long term one but.
