Nice work but i didnt like the wooden steering much... just my opinion. Would prefer a sports steering instead.

I was thinking of getting the dash painted in beige too (since i have beige leather seats). How much would this cost and what paint is used?

How was the wooden finish achieved on the steering etc? Wont the wooden look fade away with constant wear and tear?

Looking forward to ur replies. Nice work mate. Congrats.

No Arush, the whole interior plastic has been painted in beige colour. Look carefully i've posted some trim pics also.

What colours are u suggesting? Please feel free to put up your ideas.
Infact i even tried the tan colour(Verna interior color) which is like brown but it was making the car too dark n the wooden centre console wasn't jelling with it.

And where is this bodyshop?
It was an experiment. You can call it a prototype, so the price is yet to be fixed. This car has been done for free.
Its was done at FX Hyundai Bodyshop Faridabad

Steering wheel might look better with a leather cover than now. A/c knob and ash tray looked left out while painting.
It took 2 days to strip it and 3 days to put it back after painting. Wooden finish takes some time.

I tried that too but it wasn't looking good at all with that wooden finish.

.
Its first painted in base brown colour n then its all artistic hand work to get the wooden finish. Mind u it takes time but the finish was fantastic.
No, the wooden look wont fade for sure. But if its constantly scribbled with sharp things may be nails then it might just come off.

Hi Kpzen,
Nice work, makes the car look more roomier and airy than the grey version. Can you give any estimate of the costs involved ?
