Where to get a good paintjob in bangalore?

Ull get clear coat also over there they have option of Du Pont also(paint shop is very close to their work area)they match the color by the color shop keeper and then rest of the thing.

Try Vidyut Motors Off Mission Road. They have a paint booth.

'Cauvery Coats' ( most probably located in North Blr ) is a MRF Autocoat retailer.

There is another painting contractor ( forget the name ) near Garuda Autocraft - Mission Road ( going towards Lalbagh West gate ).

Guys , if you paint you car in some other colour ,you need to enter this in RC book right ? , how easy is it to do this ? or does this paper work needs to grease some palms ?

Ho and before we start painting should we inform or we can paint the car and inform the RTO later ?

Try out Bangalore Motor Works - Santosh at 9844086843 / 65629364. I have been going to him for all kinds of denting and painting jobs and also for my Matiz servicing for the past 4 years. He also does chrome job. He is good and does a very good job.

Today I had been to Sai colorium JP Nagar to find out how much involved to remove many scratches my Innova has developed from last 7 months (courtesy my recent 2 drivers who made scratches at least in 8 places, my previous driver worked for me for 4 years handling 4 cars one at a time and maximum very minor 4 scratches he has made). They advised me touch up is not worth hence repaint entire door or any panel/bumbper

This is what they quoted for repainting :

1. Front and Rear bumper
2. Left Rear door
3. Left Rear Panel (small dent)
4. Right Rear panel (small dent)
5. Left Front Panel (Fender its called I think)

Colour: Innova Blue

Cost: 13,000/-

Timeline: 3 working days.

I found cost is very less. I can see their shop is flooded with cars.

My driver banged my Matiz as well to crossing wooden push cart, so its left front panel (fender) has dent with scratch also left front door :( Soon I need to get this fixed too.

Regarding Innova repint entire body Sai Colorium quoted 32,000/-. I am thinking to retain Blue Color for Bonnet, Top, Back and come up with double colors (like orange/white or Red/white) for side and bumpers.

Also check with Fastcars Opp to IIM for comparison sake and then take a call. Fastcars are DuPont authorised/trained paint/Bodyshop.

Hey guys,

I have been a car restorer for a many years and have had the same issues with painting. One guy I found recently is a quietly tucked away garage inside Egpura Bangalore. They call themselves CARS and are Honda specialists. They have outsourced Honda accident repairs from a couple of Honda showrooms around the city and also one in Kerala. The place is run by 3 guys Philip, Robert and Ramesh and they have been demo painters with Dupont and ICI earlier and also a couple of years with Honda. They have also attended international training workshop by Honda and certified body shop technicians.

Their team is very agile and have had a good experience so far in finishing my 1.5 year old Conti restoration job. They have a very practical paint booth and do the sanding,rubbing, polish finish which is also one of the good ways of finishing a refinish job. The factory finish usually will have a bit of the orange peel effect but the refinish in this method will leave a glass/mirror like appearance after the process. They also have paint (German brand) in house shop and are quick with mixing exact tones and shades for full body and touch up jobs.

It is a little difficult to find the place but once you are there you will be amazed by the professionalism and agility of the guys in getting the job done.

In fact they start to call you to take your car away and will never usually pull dates beyond the date of delivery committed unless there is a spares issue or other delay that they can’t handle.

Overall they do a very good job and you can be rest assured that your car will make heads turn while it’s on the road if you get a paint job from there.

You can contact these guys with these numbers and reff. them that the Contessa guy told us about you and I am sure they will be glad to see your painting is done with at most care.

Sai Colorium near Sarakki Main road, If you start from Devegowda Petrol Bunk side in banashankari ring road take left turn in Kanakpura road junction signal and then within 1 km take right turn where you see vegitable and other road side shops, within 1 km there find sunrise hotel left side and right side road arch. Iis small road junction (its called indira gandhi circle), take left there which is sarakki main road. Travel around 1 km and take left in mud road into residential sort area which leads to this paint/body repair shop Sai Colorium. Its difficult to locate from Sarakki main road but ask locals there about it.

I second that. The quality of their work is really very good. Coupled with the fact that they have their own paint booth results in a finish that will rival a factory finish.

May be I will consider them for my next job work as 2 BHPians are recommending their work.
