Thats an esteem alright, but looks real bad man. How much did you pay for that ?

edit : on second look, this car is different from the previous one you posted.

Hey what makes you think that this car is different from the other one I posted earlier? is it the bonnet.

Nothing shocking about unscrupulous dealers passing off one variant of a vehicle as a different/better/popular one.

For bikes its common with RX100's.

This friend of a friend sold his 03/04 MPFI esteem as he was bitten by the Honda bug. He now drives a '99 1.3 City for which he payed double of the selling price of the esteem, as he believed it was a 2001 1.5 Exi. One look under the hood and even a non car enthusiast would have seen that the engine/chassis number was not matching. Stolen ? Im not quite sure

the engine bay is a pic of an esteem..... and a pretty run down one at that!

the remaining pics are of an m1000.

@desmo007 : dude, buddy, pal if this is what i think it is please don't try to pull off such a stunt here. if your that desperate to "wannabe ESTEEM" do yourself a favour and pick up a used engine from chor bazaar. its a pretty simple swap. there are quite a few threads discussing the same and quite a few here who can guide you further.

P.S - I have a M-1000 and i like it.

Lets wait and see what the OP, has to say in his defense.

Talking about weird thats the case with the honda fellow I mentioned na, he's advertising the fact that he has an Exi to everyone when the 1.3 is a perfectly ok car. Sometimes I guess its hard to admit defeat for certain folks.

exactly what i feel too, instead of spending money to make it look like an esteem, spend half that & make it an esteem. No need to pretend here, the M-1000 is a great car in its own right.
