I am sure you dont necessarily need a FIAT fan to praise and admire these beauties.

My fav is the 1973 Fiat.

Well the Number on the modified 118 NE made me go back in the memory lane to our 1976 model sky blue colored Fiat which was numbered - DHE 432.

Plssssssssss some more pics..........

The Fiat always had good 'road presence'..
These mods just took that image to a whole new level!!!!

Excellent work!

The grilles may not be great shakes. In all probability they are padmini units with the Delight badge in the centre. The design of the grille is the same, though padminis have chromed plastic units. If all 3 are the Italian ones, then wow! Put me down for two.

Whoever is in line for the Grilles, I dont care, as long as people recognise me to be the first one in the queue for two (For the 1100d and the planet rocker)!!

hehehe! yup! i am in line for one of those grilles - planet's grille has lost ots shine completely - only the PAL logo is in a good condition.

@ 1100D - i asked you once to see if you can source 98 pcd black alloys for rampyari from "taxas". any luck?

The cars look real good & the fit & finish is very good too! But I think for the cars the interiors are a bit too OTT & he has gon overboard with the badges (for eg. one of the cars has a dashboard badge saying ST Turbo!) But then that could be the customer's preference. Anyways all said & done a tremendous job nonetheless!

P.S. On the topic of badges I know a guy who likes to stick a "Turbo" badge on all of his cars including an A6, Q7, CR-V, Fiat Adventure etc. etc.

Well..got to see some of the cars on display for real. The cars are very well done indeed. I am honestly tempted to get one done for myself. If you have a car of your own the cost of doing it up BUMPER TO BUMPER is in the region of 1L.

Unfortunately did not get to drive one as the gentleman had some commitments on his time. But these cars certainly make a statement. The only thing that I found to be a problem is "roof height"- my head was actually totally touching the roof - need to find a solution to that. Maybe lowering the seat is a workable option. Otherwise the fit & finish was great - did not seem like a 30 year old car from any angle what so ever, but the real test lies in the drive - hope to do that in the coming week or two.

Paint job was not phenomenal - but acceptable. One of his cars had a 118 NE gearbox & differential. Just to get the super smooth feel on the gear shift. He reccomends sticking to the original Fiat gearbox & differential though.

The best part is the gentleman was so taken in with my Lancer (or was he being kind!!!) that he was most interested in my Lancer's specs & engine sound more than anything - My day was made.

All in all a great experiance. Will post - once I actually drive the car/s.

Folks, the first step after saying I want one, is to corner a car driving slowly on the left lane offer to buy. In this way atleast some beauties will be saved from the eventual scrapmans axe.
