Hydraulic Jacks

Planning to buy a hydraulic jack for my ambassador. Recently our scissor jack got stuck and is no more reliable. Wish to have a small hydraulic jack, which has got a tip/top with soft surface that ensure the underbody remains undamaged, also the top must be broad.

Guys any idea how much would something of this type cost ?

Find it really handy when cleaning the inside of the alloys. Also easy to rotate wheels and polish them.

Any thoughts bangy chaps?

I bought myself this 2ton hydraulic jack from 'tyrestore' for 2200 rupees.
Its the same thingy with a plastic case,
I saw Psychohaving a similar jack and he paid around what V-16s posted.
I somehow feel that i've overpaid.

METRO stocks them. I had seen them when I went there last. If you have access to Metro, you might get them.

I picked an hydraulic jack from sector 16 market Noida. The sticker says it can take 3 ton. Its round like the original safari jack, but smaller in height and circumference. I need to try this jack once to see if it can carry safari. Bough cheap for around 400 Rs. Had to pay 200 for a custom iron base made to increase height. But now also see that it has a screw top also to increase height..Need to try it once though..
