It was available in shell bunks once upon a time. Stopped buying it sometime back. Apart from that I have had a good experience with Autoplus MF, Formula 1, Sonax and ABRO. All of them are from Amazon and the product was very good in water absorption and a clean wipe. Later I moved to AmazonBasics and 3M. If you want Amazonbasics cloth let me know. I have a huge bunch of them.

For what purpose are you looking for?

Drying the car after a wash, I find that most of the microfiber cloth are small and absorb less amount of water.

For water absorption check autoplus or abro in amazon. Alternatively, the 3M pack of ten is also absolute VFM but is only suitable for drying and dry wiping. Not suitable for polishing. They are not that plush and soft but do an excellent job in drying.

Try something from this page : http://www.detailedclean.in/Washing-...Drying-Towels/ (you can obviously use other retailers as well).

I personally have been using the DC blue giant for couple of years. After you wash, use the water sheeting technique to get most of the water droplets off the surface. Then use a drying towel.

Not associated with DC in any way, just a customer.

Re: Microfiber Towels in India (best for detailing)

I use this: https://www.flipkart.com/softspun-ve...5a28089749c858

I had purchased from Amazon, a few months back, at a higher price. I am currently using two from my set of five towels. One is used to wipe my car dry, and the second one for buffing, whenever I wax my car. Am happy so far, especially with its ability to absorb water from my wet car.

A couple of more options for the Drying towels.

https://www.greenzcarcare.com/collec.../Drying-Towels

How is Meguiars Water Magnet for drying the car after the wash? I haven't been able to source big drying towels as yet on the net, most available are 30 X 30 cms ones.

The ones in the detailedclean site (see @blackasta's post above) are 24" x 36" (2 ft x 3 ft) and seemed good so I've ordered them.

This one comes in even bigger size. Two for that matter - 60 X 40 cms and 60X80 cms

60x80 cm is actually 24 x 32 inches.
I do not have the Gyeon waffle weave, but I do have the Meg's waffle weave.

The Meg's waffle weave required a slight wringing when I was about 80% done with the car. The DC blue giant can do that in one go without wringing.

Now I use the DC blue giant for the body and Meg's waffle weave for the glass areas.

See post #158 above. I got them from the detailedclean website and the microfiber cloth is very good, almost the size of a bath towel and is usually enough to dry up 2 cars after a wash.

Re: Microfiber Towels in India (best for detailing)

Got these Microfiber clothes from Autogeek. Thanks to a friend who carried them down from USA. They were running a christmas special discount and I got them for 15$ IIRC(I still need to pay him though). They are the regular 40*40cm pieces but pretty plush and soft compared to AmazonBasics or 3M. The closest I can relate to the ones available here is Formula1. Yet to test the water absorption capacity though. Since this is a pack of 12 I think my microfiber needs for this year is done

In addition to this I experimented in buying something called LeGear from Amazon for 260 bucks for three pieces. Even this is amazing and more plush compared to the Autogeek cloth. I will keep these three for buffing and the ones from Autogeek for everything else.

Me too bought the same LeGear stuff and have been using them to wipe dry after using wash&wax shampoo. They are pretty decent in water absorption. Two cloths does the job for TUV.
