Palio 1.6 Turbo Charged

hehe .... Like I said -- To meet this guy is on my list of must do for Sept '07 !!!

Im sure his wheels are lifted for that shot ... and that too of a GTX at the workshop coz he rides a Hero Honda Splendor ( 1993 model ) and dreams of doing such speeds !!!

KNOCK HIM OFF .... if someone doesnt come up with some concrete proof about the existence of such a machine !!!

I doubt thats a Palio engine. Rightly pointed out Nikhil V12. The engine bay is so so different.

If I am not wrong the colour of the car seems to be moon mist grey (i am saying so coz my 1.2 is moon mist grey).I doubt this car was originally a 1.6. I dont know of any moon mist grey 1.6 ever sold. In the GTX days the car available in all colours but moon mist grey was introduced in late 2005 or early 2006.
This definitely looks like a 1.2 with an engine trans or some really nut case mod job which I dont even know of. I wanna meet this guy if he is for real

No Rishi, I have personally seen one or two Moon mist grey Palio 1.6's. The amount of confusion FIAT created with these colours is worth a note

i wanted a moon mist grey 1.6 . I even asked if they could deliver one on order but they plainly refused saying 1.6 only comes in formula red and formula yellow

Anyways the point is where in Delhi/Noida is this car. I want to see it with my own eyes to believe it... I wonder whats the top speed reached by a stock 1.6 or a 1.6 with an FFE and a universal filter. Wanna hear from Khaadu... Is the speedo reading which the first pic shows achievable with your GTX given a long beautiful stretch like the Greater Noida expressway.

That speed on the speedo doesn't seem achievable even with a fault over optimistic speedo

. There is some major mods done to the car for sure.

This one is definitely different from the garetts in that it is both unreal and invisible. Also, you don't feel any turbo lag because if you can't even see the turbo, you definitely can't feel it.

NO WAY MAN .... My GTX would max out at the 180 mark and after that I wud be twiddling my thumb and wondering how could I take it any faster !!! And this is on the Greater Noida stretch .... actually my GTX was faster to the 100 mark -- after that it was hot till the 150 mark , but after that it was a pain .

And Im sure my GTX wud kick *** of this turboed GTX ... on a real road and not the stretch he has in his dreamy mind .
