Thanks a lot Jiggy. Even I felt the cam should kick in before 2k but the Piper guys themselves said the cam will kick in only after 2k to 2.5k. AS for the ride, I would like a spin in your B16 first.

One more thing I'd like to add here. I'd like to thank Mclaren1885, Viper and all other TBHpians without whose help this wouldn't have been possible.

I too have a 272 degree cam, but its from Crower. It kicks in at about 2,500 rpm. Will have to get myself an adjustable cam gear and see if it helps.

Adman, mention not. Feel free to ask any questions, will be glad to help IF I know the answers. Knowledge is for sharing.

Hi adman, cool car, nice to see somebody mod a car that's usually not modded. I've been trying to source a performance cam for my F10D for ages now ! My "tuner" has been saying 'tomorrow, tomorrow' - for the past year Did you contact Piper directly ? How soon were they able to deliver the cam ? The only thing stopping me from getting a RaceDynamics ECU is the cam, waiting endlessly for it is frustrating !?!

I got the cam from Piper through a tuner friend of mine from Bombay. It took around 10 days for the cam to arrive. Now I'm waiting for the RaceDynamics ECU.

You need to share the secret as to how u managed to install a sports steering wheel to ur corsa.I couldnt get any suitable hubs in the market and almost gave the idea since 2 yrs.

Ha ha ha. Now that is a big secret, isn't it? Well, i'll let you know. We installed the steering with a Lancer hub. It works perfectly well. It's been almost a year now. No issues whatsoever.

Without the check valve, no car would idle properly....

Power Valve is the local lingo used by techies...not the Yamaha version, though.
seriously dude .. can you tell us which cars have a power valves ?
(is there a power valve in an opel also)?
isn't power valve a bike related terminology ?

Ok, yaar. IACV sensor, in pure tech...ahem...

Yes, Power valves ARE bike related. Entirely different concept. And yes, some cars use them too..none road-legal, though...

I know you know this. Quit pulling my leg, bhai...no more street acronyms from now on. Promise.
