Went today to the service centre on the Railway Parallel Road.

Replaced the worn out case for 140/- and the batteries for 90/-. Took less than 15 mins.

Excellent service.

I have a spare remote but that does not work. I replaced the batteries but to no effect. The local guys said the coding in the spare key remote has konked due to non usage for a long long time. You need to go to Autocop main office to get this fixed.
Does this make sense to any of you ? How much time will the recoding take ? and what will be the budget ? Thanks guys.

No idea really. Does the red LED blink when you press the buttons ?

Take it to their service centre, they should be able to help out. I found them pretty good.

2 weeks back, i had travelled to my native place Mangalore for Ganesh Chathurthi festival. During this trip, i noticed that the autocop remote was functioning intermittently. Tried to get it repaired in Mangalore, but without success. Disabled Autocop and came back to Bangalore. Called their customer care and lodged a complaint. One Mr.Shankar called back and fixed up an appointment to come home to check the remote when the car was available. He also asked for the model number of the remote. I had the booklet & warranty card which mentioned this.

He came the next day and was convinced that the remote was indeed faulty. He exchanged a brand new remote for the faulty one. Appreciated their professional approach and I am a satisfied customer.

Care to give me the call centre number ? I do not have the model number or the original booklet. Am I in a fix ?

The reason he asked me for the model was to come prepared with the spares / replacement parts.

Their customer care phone numbers are

40921707, 40921708, 40921709, 23563144, 23563142. I had to call a few times before some one answered. This may be because the lines were busy when i called.

They called me back from 97400 25536 and his name was Shankar.
