Bull bar for Bolero - Bangalore

Hi all

Where do I find a bull bar for Bolero in Bangalore

Conditions are
1. It should look simple - single bar - like a Maruti Ommi. I don't want the huge ones like Sumo - makes it look like a "Taxi"
2. Need it to fit 2 fogs lamps (I bought them already)

thx

Rocky

You should be able to find them with Mahindra dealers. Try Vijai Auto / India Garage.

On second thoughts a bull bar may not be a good thing.
See an earlier discussion here.

Would not advice you to do that. Bolero is already a sturdy vehicle without the bulls & the bars.

I believe the OT wants the bull bar solely for mounting auxiliary driving lights, as mentioned in his/her post and mention that the oversized bull bars are not what he/she is looking for. Car accessory shops typically have bull bars for the Maruti Omni and Maruti 800 but I'm not sure if they would fit a Bolero (they would be rather low).

I would imagine that someone out there does sell collapsible bull bars that do not compromise safety over appearance. Some SUVs do come with an OEM nudge bar that simply looks like a square over the front grill.

@Nitin, you have dug up a 4 year old thread. Please check the dates of the post before you respond to any post.

Re: Bull bar for Bolero - Bangalore

Bull bars are ok for ladder frame chassis vehicles, but dangerous for pedestrians. A small bull bar is nevertheless required for aux lights.

Check with Pradeep, he is your best bet. Google for prad4x4

Sorry, my mistake. I accidentally read the date on the last post as "13 Sept 2011" instead of "13 Sept 2007".
