Beware of spareshub.com

Hello folks! Like a true petrol head, I ventured into maintaining my wife's 2015 Nano XTA DIY for stuff that doesn't involve the engine or gearbox or anything critical, after being fed up with two TASS in my city where they have lackadaisical attitude, take weeks for service, and invariably have one issue or the other still remaining even then.

Looked about, and figured I need something better than boodmo because they deliver stuff months after you forget about it, or do not deliver at all. Took a gamble with spareshub.com and placed the order for front and rear dampers, and tailgate balancer on April 11th.

Got their confirmation email promptly. And then it's silence. Waited for a couple of weeks and followed up with them on 26th April on the phone number listed in their website. They said someone will call back, and sure did - said the parts could not be sourced and they will venam the order, refund the money. Asked for my bank details over WhatsApp, which I promptly sent. Asked me to wait for 10 business days. So far so good.

I WhatsApp'd again by the 3rd week of May. Now the story started all over again - sending my account details, waiting for 10 business days. Nothing.

From then on, I have been following up multiple times every week. They either do not answer, or worse still - answer the phone but do not talk. In the odd case they do talk, all that they say is the concerned person is on leave and nothing can be done until he's back.

So, for an order mage on 11th April, confirmed by spareshub themselves that it'll need to be refunded on 26th April, I'm still waiting for the refund/ resolution - not to mention the highly unprofessional manner of answering the phone but not talking - I hear breathing noises, a rare hello and then no response, background noises. It's not like the phone is defective over several weeks, because they do talk to tell me about the person on leave story.

Attaching some details and screenshots here (some of communication have been over WhatsApp - not included here. No response even there for a while now).

BUYERS BEWARE OF SPARESHUB.

Re: Beware of spareshub.com

Yeah, these guys are pathetic. I had a bad experience with them years ago. Boodmo is decent, even though a lot of their parts aren't stock despite it saying that it's available. It's easy to cancel and get your money back with them. Please try Motrparts. I've bought a few things from them and their service has been good. You can reach out to them through Whatsapp and ask them directly if they have the parts in stock.

Re: Beware of spareshub.com

So I called to check in today, half expecting a non-answer or another run around. I was told I'll get a call back - and I got a call back confirming refund has been issued, and should hit my bank by EOD, which it has!

While I may not place another order with them, and it still took them 3 months to come to this - I think they're running a business alright, but one that needs to be run better/ proper,

Good that you got your money back. But there is a very strong chance that their U turn and sudden realisation may be a result of this thread. Teambhp holds quite weightage in auto World.

Re: Beware of spareshub.com

Just was about to order cabin filters and air filters for my crysta from them, I guess thanks for saving me!
Ps: it would be nice if other bhpians commented about some actually good websites where there are no issues and only original parts are sold with a huge variety if in case we need it. Thanks!
