hey guys, i didn't used to like these projector lights earlier but the more i see them on civics, i have started likeing them.pls tell me are they of good quality, i mean there build quality. do they perform well after fitting HID's. cause i don't want to spend thousands on these if they aren't good enough and is the projector lens good enough or is of cheap quality. people who are using them, please reply on this. thanks

The car is raised up as the over all diameter of wheel has increased.
Of many other things, this would lead to...
1. Lower speedo & Odo readings
2. Very poor ride quality - considering Bangalore roads
3. Probably the Suspension would die very soon
4. The rear tyres have taller profile (side walls) than front tyres. i.e. the rear wheel has bigger diameter and the car is raised from back. This can reduce the stability of the car. (anyway I don;t think it can be driven fast on our roads)
Well all that on practicality front.

The profile on both wheels are 30, suspension is stock and not raised, and IMO it is a absolutely horrible idea to fit such rims on our road conditions, as one cannot even drive the car fast enough to feel the bad ride quality, so in a way the suspension is taking a beating and at the same time not, cos this car is not even taken on bad roads let alone be driven fast.
This is like taking a Tiger and keeping it in a cage like a good looking multicolored Monkey in a zoo that everyone wants to see.
I personally would not go above 17"/18" on a civic considering my driving patterns.

Also this car demands to be lowered to improve the looks.
With this size of wheel and stock suspension, the tyres would probably hit the wheel well if lowered. So the car should be lowered with a stiffer suspension.

With these awesome rims that should be a must do next step...

Profile is specified as a ratio of tyre wall height to width (tread) in %age.
Tread width in this case is different 225mm for front and 245mm for rear, so the height (tyre wall height) is different.

It is advised not to to run different sizes tyres considering safety aspects.

BTW I expect the car is raised at least 1 cm compared to stock, due to the bigger wheel. This demands to be lowered, it would look even better
