Dashboard reflection on windscreen

In the gulf every car will be fitted with dashboard carpet. which will save from extreme heat that spoils the dashboard'; and also avoid the glare/reflection.

I'm currently facing this issue on my new Altroz. The car has a pretty steeply slanting windscreen and hence, the more than usual intensity of dashboard reflection including its front defogger vents. I was planning to get it spray painted with black matte color, or paste black vinyl sheets. Coz I find black cloth draping to look bad. I already wear prescription glasses, so buying polaroids with power for this single issue will be an unnecessary ripoff. Also, it will be a solution only if I'm driving and not if my wife or brother are at the wheel.

So has anyone tried black matte paint or black vinyl...?
