Stage 2 Swift : Very fast indeed

Had gone to Autotech for installation of the Green Filter in Swift Diesel(Pete'd)

There i saw fellow team-bhpian Ranjan Kumars Red Suzuki Swift.

The following are the mods on it.

KnN Apollo CAI
FFE from Electra performance with 4-2-1 headers
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
New Head
Porting & Polishing of Heads
Piper 285 profile Cam Shaft
Throttle body enlargement
Lighter Fly wheels
195/60/14

To be done
Race Dynamics ECM, which would be done today or tomorrow.

I had a ride in the car, and here is what i can say about it.
  • Doesnot start at first crank, due to the Cam.
  • Idling is rough, again due to the Cam.
  • Low end is invisible(maybe due to the Cam or maybe cause the Swift D is all about low end)
  • Exhaust note is f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c a very deep throaty growl
  • After 4000RPM the car goes like stink, it just takes off like crazy and the Cam kicks in the car really starts flying.
  • The car is not completely setup as the Standalone is yet to be installed with the new maps, after which this car is going to be a really rocket.
  • Revvlimiter is going to be increased to 8500RPM and since the cam is a high lift one, its going to use that to the max.
  • More will be said by the owner Ranjan himself.
  • Overall the car is become a rocket and flies fast, very fast indeed after 4000RPM, kinda insane.
Some pics

Thanks BUSA on posting the thread for me. I would give my feedback when I have it with me. The Car is still with AUTOTECH and after the ECM is done I will get it maybe mid next week. Until then please have patience for the review. There is a correction, the Alloys in the Pics are not mine, it belongs to the person at AUTOTECH and my alloys can be seen in my photo Gallery.

Yup, he told me that he was seeing how it responds to 195/60/14, the ride was much much better.

No ways shuvd, if i do plan to sell, the only reason would be in lieu of a GP/Getz 110bhp. Planning to install a FFE in the Swift later on. Shuvd, get your Magnum peted Rules

Autoteah is located at LBS Marg and they are tuners(who do all kinds of tuning, repair, service, also official KnN dealer in Mumbai)

I had gone for installing Green there, Ranjan had told me about the work in his car so i checked it out. I know Ranjan since quite a few days

If you remember you had left a comment in my Photo Gallery about the fabrication of pipe. Is the same person who has done it. He is located in:

LBS MARG,
OPP Mukund Iron & Steel Company,
Kurla (W) Mumbai.

Busa also asked about the fabrication, I gave him the contact number and he happens to install his Green at his place and thus had a test drive of the car.
