Best maruti 800 modification.

Here is a 800 after modification at Madurai.Sincere effort has been made to make it a vehicle suitable for off road applications. If you do not think that this a best modification please top it with a better photo.

How does removin half the top/adding roll bar/ and not raising the front or the rear suspension/using cross ply tyres make it suitable for offroad applications?
PS:the front rim is bent too

I second Cyrus...Why should someone be doing this to a 800, and that to try making it into a softroader..No ways.He has completely ruined it.

Cheers,
Niki

Well..that is a maruti which does look funny.. Generally offroad vehicles SHOULD have better TYRES..

This looks in my opinion like one of those ad campaign vehicles..

Atleast try to put in those knobby tryes..to give it a more rough look!!

And what about 4WD?

I have to agree with you Stampro. Its a cute ute and the best mod job I have seen of the Maruti 800. However, I would't want to call it an off road vehicle but more of a micro pickup truck or mini ute. The shape of the B pillar and the way the roll bar blends into it is very nice + nice color choice too. I can see that it is still work in progress....do post a picture when its complete.

Whats modded about the car? Its a ground up restoration job, not a mod.

Edmund has just restored this car wonderfully, but it doesnt qualify for mods...I dont think he has modded it.

Yes, I too agree that the car has been modded well...just ask him to complete the paint job & add a set of alloys and potenza g3's...it will do justice!

Headlights look stock to me. Maybe pics from some other angles will help.

Here is another of my favourites from down under.
