went through the entire thread.

Iam planning to buy a honda city.I saw two cars and both i liked.But dont know which to choose,

1)2003 Honda City 1.5 exi black --- only 34000 kms in odo
2)2003 Honda City vtec golden---- 68000 kms in odo

Iam in a grat confusion guys.The 1.5 is in a verry good condition just like bought fresh from the showroom.But the vtec is also giving me a pull towards it hearin the efficiency and power of the engine.Which would be good for my daily use??..

Please do help me guys on this.....

since your garage has a few other options, i would recommend you the VTEC. will surely add to the variety and still lead the pack.

P.S.: take lots of care in the pre-purchase checks. Am sure you will know.

1.5 EXI is good enough for daily use. But its Black in color , its a very easy color for touch ups. But If you are gonna buy a OHC once make it a vtec

Engine and gearbox wise, life has just begun for this car. But you might wanna get the clutch and suspension checked before you decide on it.

frankly dude go for the vtec cause after some time you might feel the 1.5 is slow but the vtec its gets faster by the day man and the feel of the vtec engine power is amazing
rightly said get the clutch and suspension checked
on a vtec ull get mags and sproiler company fitted so there will be a price diff in the cars

Hey its for my daily use.So should give some considerations for the milage too.I heard that v-tec gives less milage.But in the case of 1.5 we get both power and milage right?

It's actually the other way around. The Vtec is the one that gives you the best of both worlds (thats what VVT is all about).

Hafi thats very priced! Auto Terrace, hondas very own pre-owned car division is selling 1.5 type 2 and vtec around 3.5L

5L could fetch you a type 1 accord from Auto terrace
