Karan, what he is saying (& it's true), is that as the colour moves out of the white/blue range (more than 6000k), the effective visibility (for u in the car) drops, i.e. you can see further into the dark with 4500/6000k than with 10000/12000k.

Hope this helps.

BTW your ride is fly!

yup, diamond vision will be fine (crystal vision too). Streetglows will be cool in your car...take care with bumps & speedbreakers though. Get purple if possible.

Karan! The car looks fab! Love the look where only the rings are lighted!

You're sure getting lot of attention. How is the spread with the help of projectors?

Get HID for the projector beam, and 100 or 130w for the high beam.

Thanks a lot , i wonder why these lights are called ANGEL EYES .... ???? when they give the car a killer DEVILS LOOK , it should be known as DEVILS EYE actually

And yeah ... planning for HIDs ... probably 8000k (i geuss these are the ones which give white light with a purple tinge)

@ Karan561 - Go with the 8000ks or ones which have a purple tinge. It'll look killer on your ride. I have a few queries and I'm posting those here. Sorry to hijack your thread but I didn't want to start a new thread.

@ All - The stupid questions are:
1. What is the reliability for these angel eyes? Do they last long or go kaput in a short time?
2. What do you get in the "box" so to speak. I understand these don't come with HIDs. But are any bulbs present at all?
3. Are these setups available for the Octavia? Where? Cost?

@ Manveet - Rs. 6000 for HIDs? What make? Where in Delhi are these available? I got 6000K for around 8 a few months back in Calcutta. But now the dealer says that the range starts from 12000.

1. Well the RELIABILITY FACTOR is a BIG Q mark .... no Problems till know (touch wood) ... but you neva know ... it really depends on what make is it.

2. You just get a SET of headlamps (which are having both high and low beam bulbs) And you get a installation procedure - Printout

3. Yeah this setup is available for the Octavia .
