anywhere between 1 to 1.5 Lakhs that's generally the range for the turbo kit, and installation here in India. Of course there are much more expensive kits that you could go for, but they're just not suited for our kind of cars

Still running. I mean reported to be flying. Hear the workmanship is out of this world. Hoping to meet the owner soon, time permitting.

Sure! Hoping to fix an appointment sometime in Jan last week. By then even the reliability factor should be clear enough.

IMHO - if the mfg wanted to add a turbo - they would have done it. Once you add a turbo - you might have to factor in a drop in reliability. The more moving parts, the more points of failure.
An engine transplant would be a better option for better performance.
TCing any car needs a lot of engineering and insight. Unless- the designing has already been done by the company - and it comes as a "bolt on".

Hey,

What exactly do you mean by that statement. We are 2 separate entities and they(A.R. Motorsport) do not do any of my work. I think you need to get your facts right.

Manufacturers are happy to cut costs and give us slow cars. Which is why the Indica was launched with a turbo only 6-7 years after it first came out.

A turbo is a single moving part. I don't think I can recall a quality turbo failing.

No company sells bolt-on kits for their own cars. At most, their performance wings may sell one, rarely, as in the case of TRD and their Corolla supercharger kit. Bolt-on kits are developed by tuners or performance tuning companies.

Possibly yes but I think he could do some better plumbing:

I think Jitu is the best for turbo charging (DIY!)

And AFAIK A.R. did Neo_Trace's LPG Baleno Turbo.
