Congrats Pawan, Thats one wicked ride, Trust me.

@John- did you know about this car already? if not, you must be opening some detective agency man...

Can you please post some FE figures? I was also wondering to go the FI way sometime down the lane, would love to take a look at yours before that, would love to take her for a ride next time when we meet bro.

We can also do some Carb vs FI runs wat say?

BTW, were you driving her near Hebbal Flyover this morning at around 10.30AM?

Did you get a new Esteem engine? If used, any idea how many kms it has done?

You will bust the engine with a turbo..keep it NA and you'll enjoy the beauty for years to come..

And congrats to you pawan for your new purchase..

Get some solid 195 tyres atleast..as the car cannot brake or handle the power.. trust me i've had one from 2001 till 2004..!! My pre tbhpian days!

My ezen could keep with a 1.5 VTEC till 120 kmph..in a very short span.. gave 13 kmpl in city with normal driving, 17+ on the highways.., 6 if driven on the limit etc..

I felt the cars suspension to be the major pain..and theres no stopping the limit to your mods..

Anyways..its a cute little car that will TURN many heads..!

happy SAFE driving...

Alloys/rims?

Planning to go the alloy way? then i think you already have zillion threads regarding it.
if not,you can buy esteem rims (4.5J)/optra rims(5.5J)with a bit of lathe work and go for 175+ rubber! also a better Brake Booster is a must, that would do!

Suspensions even i got em stiffened, but they dont hold for a long time let me know if you find something interesting/worth in these lines, I am also planning a spring/suspension upgrade. confused as to what to do

Am getting a better FE under sedate driving, remember its not a na engine. I was told that you ll loose out on mileage if I got it MPFIed hence refrained

thanks a lot man.

@ raghuram which carb are you running.i was going carb earlier mikuni racing carbs but because of the mileage part of it i didnt i was told milleage would go down to some 9 with this carb but power would be some where around 90-100 with a little more tuning work.so stayed fi.

@akshay checked electra's site it showed only struts were available for the zen. i am looking for complete suspension kit.
